Residential Water Runoff on Notice by Eastern Municipal Water District

Revised ordinance requires water efficient landscapes in new development and assesses penalties for water waste (runoff) beginning Sept. 1, 2008.

San Jacinto Valley Interceptor Sewer:
Phase 1
The San Jacinto Valley Interceptor Sewer Project involves the installation of pipelines to direct wastewater flows to EMWD’s San Jacinto Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility. This project will provide expanded wastewater collection infrastructure as it approaches its capacity.

Perris Valley Pipeline
A joint $120 million project between Western, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and Eastern Municipal Water District, the Perris Valley pipeline will enhance the treated water delivery capacity in both Eastern and Western’s service areas by up to 150 million gallons a day. Tank Project to Address Water Supply Reliability in Sun City Area
Work is underway to construct a 1.5 million gallon water storage tank in Sun City to ensure water reliability, provide adequate fire flow for fire hydrants, and meet peak demands in the summer for the area. |
